A gentle introduction to formal learning and investigating some key genres and styles. Get ready to dive into classic texts and get stuck into designing petitions, debating topics and creative writing projects.  

A chance for those not quite ready for GCSE level work to be gently introduced to the different kinds of understandings and writing devices which underpin the GCSE in a small, inclusive and in-person group setting. 

Homework is set every three weeks and is entirely optional.
